The Chamber Music Week in Chiloé is an activity organized by 'Chiloé Concertante' and is mainly funded by private companies and public entities. Its main purpose is to promote classical music in the different localities on the Chiloé Island through concerts, master classes and educational talks.

In order to carry out these activities, prominent performers from this genre are invited to Chiloé. Most of them reside in Vienna, known as the musical capital of the world. These musicians not only contribute to the development of classical music in the region, but also produce an interesting cultural exchange between Europeans and Chilotes

These series of activities take place every year on the second week of August, in the heart of Chiloé's winter, thus establishing an excellent entertainment possibility for the inhabitants of this island.

This year's Chamber Music Week of Chiloé will take place between the 10th and 15th of August, 2015, with concerts in Chonchi, Achao, Queilen, Ancud, Puqueldón and Castro.
